Just sometimes it is good to eat English food. Not too often, mind you 🙂
|450 g carrots peeled and sliced||30 g butter||2 Tblspn brown sugar|
|30 ml cream||1 small onion, peeled and sliced||salt and black pepper|
|2 Tblspns chopped parsley||1 Tblspn water|
In a pan with a lid melt the butter with the water and then layer the carrots and onions in the pan. Cover and place over a low heat. Simmer very slowly until tender, about 20 minutes. Season and sprinkle over the sugar. Pour in the cream and continue to cook slowly for 10 minutes. Place in a serving dish and sprinkle with parsley.
